Atlantic City Blackjack
Take a trip to Atlantic City for our classic Online Blackjack game that offers three unique features.
Players have a huge amount of flexibility, as you can split your hand up to three times, split any two cards of matching value and double down on any two cards.
You will even have the option to surrender your dealt hand if you don’t think it will beat the dealer - doing this will cost you half of your original wager.
Atlantic City Blackjack Game Overview
To place a bet, click on a chip at the bottom of the table and then place it on the required section of the casino table.
The chip denominations available in Atlantic City Blackjack are £1, £5, £25 and £100.
To remove a bet, hold the space bar and click on the chips you would like to remove.
Clicking ‘Clear’ will remove all of your bets.
Clicking ‘Deal’ will start your game of Atlantic City Blackjack.
Betting Options
Repeat and Deal - this repeats your bet from the previous game
Let ‘em Ride - this will place a bet that stakes all of your winnings from your previous hand
Double - clicking ‘Double’ will double the size of your previous bet (but it must still remain under the table limit of £1000)
How to Win Blackjack
A winning hand in blackjack is one that totals closest to 21.
Your total of 21 can be made up of any amount of cards.
An Ace with a 10 or picture card is known as ‘Blackjack’ and beats all other hands.
Picture cards have a value of 10, while all other cards have the value shown on them.
An Ace can be valued at either 1 or 11, depending on which score better assists your hand.
Should your cards equal the same value as the dealer then you will receive your stake back - this is known as a ‘push’.
Splitting
If the first two cards you are dealt are of matching value then you will have the option to split your hand.
This will see your original hand split into two and you must then bet the same stake again to cover them both.
Doubling Down
You will be given the chance to double down your bet when you have seen your first two cards.
Should you double down then you must match your existing stake for that hand - if you win this bet you will be paid out at twice your total wager.
Your entire wager will be lost after you double down if the dealer turns over blackjack.
A unique feature of Atlantic City Blackjack is that you can double down on any two cards, while also being given the chance to double down after splitting your original hand.
Insurance
Should the dealer’s first card be an Ace then you will be given the chance to safeguard your hand against the possibility that the dealer has blackjack.
Taking insurance will cost you half of your original wager - so if you bet £10, the insurance will cost you a further £5.
If the dealer does not have blackjack, you will lose your insurance bet and the hand will continue as normal.
Surrender
The surrender option gives you the opportunity to walk away from your hand after it has been dealt.
You will lose half of your original wager if you choose to take this option.
Return to Player (RTP)
Return to Player: 99.64%
The expected return is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game.
For example, if we take £100 of wagers we will, on average, pay out £99.64 of wins.
The return is based on the player making the best choices.
